I love the podcast. I am definitely taking my time with it and am not on target to finish it in a year, but I like to try to get all I can out of it. Thank you for acknowledging that chapter 13 was a little stomach turning! Lol but my thoughts were bang on with yours. The priests and Moses were not doctors. So he had to detail for them when to take action and when not to.

Leprosy, plague, etc. symbolizes a curse from sin as written in Deuteronomy 28 - The blessings and curses. "The Lord will make the plague cling to you until He has consumed you from the land which you are going to possess. The Lord will strike you with consumption, with fever, with inflammation, with severe burning fever, with the sword, with scorching, and with mildew; they shall pursue you until you perish. The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors, with the scab, and with the itch, from which you cannot be healed." Deuteronomy 28:21‭-‬22‭, ‬27
