@Doni : The comments closed prematurely... While in the garden, Adam and Eve had a forever life. When they sinned and exited the garden, their lives became finite, so they did die in time.

I agree with your observations on His love and His pursuit of us. I think we can agree to disagree on a few things, but those are details that should not cause us to miss the message. The most horrifying and sickened interpretation of original sin I have heard on the Internet. If God is all powerful he created sin, then punished us for it in original sin. Then made women second in creation but first in sin? Sounds like a built-in excuse for female abuse forever.
