I learned a lot from the word translation and meaning descriptions as it doesn’t equate with exact words in our English language

@Jodi Huber : In the Jewish culture, yes. But I believe 7 day Adventists also observe Saturday as the Sabbath.

The following verse jumped out to me a few days ago as one I hadn’t “seen” in previous reads through the Bible but it is helpful in understanding how and why Joshua was capable of leading his chosen fighters into battle with Amalek. “But God led the people around by the way of the wilderness toward the Red Sea. And the people of Israel went up out of the land of Egypt equipped for battle.” Exodus 13:18 ESV
