That leads me think it was likely Solomon who wrote this, and this woman was the one out of all his wives and concubines that he actually loved intimately. In any case. The more I see references of the sexual intimacy between a husband and a wife, the more I see it as an illustration for us of the relationship between God and His children. Between Christ and the church. What an incredible wedding we have to look forward to!
