Yes, in the book of Jacob, people can easily allow their predefined use of the word ”work” as in working to earn God’s grace. Perhaps the translator should have used the word ”actions” in place of works. The context in which Jacob speaks is that actions speak louder than words. Your actions validate your faith, what you do.

I really enjoyed this book of James and I pray everyday for the Lord God Almighty and Jesus Christ for the sins I’ve committed and God is where the Joy is ❤️🙏
