I’m learning to wait on the LORD because His ways and timing is perfect. I don’t know if anyone saw the movie “His Only Son”; the story about Abraham and Isaac. I thought it was good.

Such a good day - great explanation!!

I relate with Sarai finding myself impatient and assuming God needs my help with His plans. This was a great reminder to wait.

Here’s one of my questions… I feel like I’ve never heard anyone speak about how Hagar looked with disdain on Sarai after she became pregnant. Everyone speaks about poor Hagar, yet she kind of provoked Sarai. Not that that excuses Sarai’s poor behavior or choices. Or Abram’s. Just find it curious I’ve never heard anyone speak of Hagar’s disrespect. Or am I missing something?

You talk a lot about Sarai’s sin, and her lack of repentance, and how the repercussions can still be seen for her sin. But what about her husband? Did he not also choose to lay with the servant in attempts to make a baby? Should he not be held accountable as well?
