First, thank you for this podcast. I’m in my second year listening, and it’s become part of my morning routine, right after the prescribed passages. In today’s episode, TLC said Jacob “accidentally” acquired two wives. That wording confused me a bit, since the story seems to show that Laban intentionally deceived him by giving Leah first. So would it be more accurate to say Jacob was tricked, rather than that it happened accidentally? Or is the point that Jacob bears some responsibility for not realizing it sooner?
