Powerful reminder that the spiritual world is constantly at war, so we must feed ourselves with God’s truth. Reminds me of The Screwtape Letters.

Every day I listen and every day I think about how much more I learn because I do! Thank you!

I know this is silly, but my God shot was the donkey. God had compassion for the donkey when the donkey was struck and even said He would have spared the donkey. I know there is a lot of animal sacrifice happening, but I saw God as an animal lover too. He had compassion on all His creation. It also made me wonder if our pets can see angels in our home when we cannot.

Also so happy that you spoke to this. I also was confused when I read that God told him to go and then was incensed that he went. I had to read it over as I was sure I was misreading it. But this was so insightful. When God tells us to do something - what is the nature of our heart? Is there pride there? Self indulgence? It reminds me that His instructions are about Him, not me.

I had the same confusions about how it seemed like God was contradicting himself so I really appreciate you addressing it and helping explain what might have been going on. that he was doing what God told him but that his motivation might have been worldly

Very insightful message. I also got another insight to making of the bizzare image.it reminds me that in the world we live in there will always be tribulations(problems) an we have to constantly focus on Christ for solutions to these challenges. I mean God could have killed the serpents or withdrew from the camp but he didn't.He created a solution instead for those who will believe to look at the image. Problems remained but a solution was offered. Where is your focus?
