I agree. It is likely it is rape because it never condemns Bathsheba, but anytime there is a rape in scripture, the text doesn’t hold back in addressing it as rape. Only God knows what really happened.

I believe David committed rape, adultery, sexual immorality, formication, covetness, envy and murder.

Rape is a bit of a stretch. I believe you’re trying to add charges against David when the text is not decision the matter. I’m not sure why you feel the need to create a cultural war base on an incomplete picture. I would’ve much rather you said that it’s a possibility giving the context clues that David could have violated her. Instead you pushed it as fact. On the other side, the text is not accusing Bathsheba of seducing David, or being complicit in adultery. We can’t be 100% either way.

This is why I believe in Jesus Christ and God the Father because of my sins in the past and I hope and pray that God the Father will still let me in Heaven ❤️❤️💕🙏

Praise be to God that Bathsheba was shown sinless for just living her life and that David took advantage of this and raped her. in today's society women can live their life day by day but be accused of enticing men in their weakness in raping a woman.
