Beautiful. Thank you.

I would love to know where the idea comes from that Solomin was being sneaky and trying to steal the logging skill of Hiram's men. I do not see or find that in Scripture or the commentaries. Everything I find speaks to the men Solomon sent as being the porters. Hiram never turned away anything Solomon requested or offered, only that his people would get the wood to the sea and Solomon's would transport it. That takes a but of people considering the lack of technology and the slowness of oxen.

I find it interesting, that in both 1 Kings and 2 Chronicles, Hiram, king if Tyre references God as "God" or "the Lord". It appears that he is a believer himself, especially from 2 Chronicles 2:12 where Hiram says that God "made the heavens and the earth".
